Polly's Handbag

Oh dear.... almost two months since my last share here.... I guess that means I haven't been stitching new patterns!

Actually I have, I just haven't gotten around to creating the pdf files to share here.  Anyway, digging through my computer files I found this file to share with you.... not the greatest picture of the finished card, though, sorry about that! I'm starting to think that the reason I held off on sharing this one, is that I needed to better photograph of the card to share!
Download this pattern here

I used DMC threads for this car, in gold and a varigated pink, as well as acrylic pearls as accents.  The handle, is a simple string of pearls.  It hangs loose on the card, and adds a nice gentle movement when the card is opened.

Just a single colour matt, and a sweet corner punch was used to finish.

If you create anything with my pattern, do link your work back to this post, or drop me an email.... I'd love to see your creation!

  3. Very pretty...I really like this technique...have done very little with stitching on cards...but I love the look. After all my years of cross-stitching and all the thread I still have...LOL...I guess I should try it some more.
