Afrikaan

Download this pattern
This is a pattern I created back in 2004.  This card was stitched a few years ago (it's on my main blog somewhere!) I beaded and stitched the figure, and chalked her features, as well as the background.  The image is edged in brown chalk ink, and mounted on black gloss and olive card.

It is a simple pattern, and my pdf file also suggests a few different ways of creating her necklaces.  Hopefully the link to the host site will work.... if you print the pdf A4 or US Letter paper size, the pattern will be full card size - just cut it out and stitch!

If you create anything with my pattern, do link your work back to this post, or drop me an email.... I'd love to see your creation!

  1. hi Pauline,

I haven't been on your blog for a while. Hope all is well with you. I just thought I would come and visit. I am back to blogging and I realize now that creating is one thing that I definitely enjoy and have to keep up with it without my loooooooong breaks that I tend to have.

I absolutely love this African card, the beads look so striking, I just love it.
